FAQ:

What is NIGHT+MARKET?

A pretty good Thai Restaurant that opened December 2010 as a casual 4 day a week experiment and grew into a sort of annex or permanent pop-up inside Talesai restaurant on the Sunset Strip.

Where are you located?

We are located behind the curtain behind the bar at Talésai restaurant, 9043 Sunset Blvd. (at Doheny) 90069. You enter through Talésai.

Why is your phone always busy?

we're a tiny restaurant with a tiny kitchen and tiny crew, and we don't have a host or reservationist--meaning we don't really answer our phone if it gets busy. if you have any questions or would like to get in touch, please email us info@nightmarketla.com and we'll be more than happy to help you out!

Food for drinking?

In Thai, it's called 'aharn klam lao' which roughly translates to 'food to facilitate drinking.' That's at the heart of what we do. We make food for drunkards.

What's the parking situation?

Valet is $4.50. Some street parking is available, although tickets can be $$$, so please read the signs carefully.

Wine and Thai food?

Yes! We like wines you can gulp throughout the meal in a way that's not so precious. To us, that means Gamay from the Loire (Noella Morantin), rustic sparkling wines (Pierre & Catherine Breton), wildman wines (cornelissen susucaru, puzelat le telquel), old vine Beaujolais (Jean-Paul Brun)...et al.

Do you make your own sausages?

Yes. We make them completely by hand, on the premises.

In summary:

All we care about is serving good food and drink, in a no frills, easy environment where friends can hang out.
